Source Naturals Wellness Zinc Lozenges™ 60 lozenges

The Wellness Family™ of products are designed to support the body's defense system when under physical stress.

Our zinc lozenges are specially formulated to contain the most active forms of zinc. Zinc is a trace element that plays a significant role in the human body. It is involved in normal cell growth and repair and helps support the body's natural defenses. Natural peach and raspberry flavors leave no "zinc aftertaste."*

Suggested Use: 1 lozenge every two hours as needed. For optimal results, dissolve completely in mouth, allowing prolonged contact in throat area. Avoid taking on an empty stomach or with citrus juices. Do not exceed 6 servings in a 24-hour period. Do not use for more than 3 days at a time.

Allergies: Suitable for vegetarians. Contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, soy or wheat. Contains no preservatives or artificial colour, flavour, or fragrance.
-  Why should people take zinc?
Zinc is essential to many enzyme systems and for normal functioning of the immune system.

-  What are its most popular benefits?
Zinc is primarily well-liked for its immune and antioxidant support capabilities.

-  What are the benefits of a lozenge?
Wellness Zinc Lozenges™ feature zinc in the form of gluconate, the most efficient, non-binding form. It also includes ascorbate. This formula allows for up to 90 percent of free-form zinc ions from gluconate to be released in the mouth and throat. It is then available for action within the bloodstream.

-  Are there other benefits?
Zinc can have an unpleasant metallic taste. Our lozenges have a pleasant peach-raspberry flavor that masks the taste of the natural zinc.

-  How does this formula differ from others?
Other formulas may contain citric acid or mannitol-sorbitol sweetener mixtures, and as a result do not work nearly as well. That is because these compounds bind free zinc ions so tightly that very little of it is released into the oral cavity.
