Silk Tea Organic Latte Grade Matcha
Vibrant green with a bright aftertaste Matcha has been the chosen drink of Buddhist Monks for centuries. Matcha is the result of grounding a green tea plant into a powder. High in antioxidants, Matcha improves the metabolism, energy, focus, immunity and longevity. Matcha is rich in L-Theanine which helps improve concentration and mental calm.
Your Organic Matcha is grown by the Honda family in Nishio Japan. Nishio is one of two renowned Matcha producing regions in Japan. The Honda family have been minding tea for over 100 years. The Matcha is Samidori cultivar and harvested in the Spring to ensure a fresh and sweet cup.
For a Matcha latte whisk or shake one teaspoon of Matcha with 1/3 of a cup of 80°c water. Fill the remainder of the cup with milk, or nut milk and add sweetener if desired. Alternatively simply whisk one teaspoon of Matcha with 80°c water to unleash your inner Buddhist Monk.
The Matcha is packed in oxo-biodegradable packaging and 1% of all sales is donated to local New Zealand charities through the One Percent Collective.
